What type pf carburetor and fuel pump should I use?
I have an early 70's Chaparral G44B engine. It is used on a small airboat. I get a great amount of performance out of it. I would like to try a different carb fuel pump set up on it. I am looking for something similar to what is used on a Cuyuna. It does not rely on the base pressure built up at the PTO seal like the Chaparral. Has anyone ever done this and had any success with it? Not a big deal but it would be fun to try something different for a little more performance, and improve throttle response.

I need to get over a guy who never liked me ASAP what to do?
Here's the story. I've tried eveything! This guy is my best friend. I meet this guy freshmen year of highschool. I liked him like from the start. he started talking to me and we got really close and evrything. We have never gone out like together (dating) or to any place together in general. He would tell me all this stuff about his life and his feelings for one girl. I was there for him throughout 3 out of his 4 of his relationships. He trusted me alot. But the 4th time I couldn'tdo it anymore. I had a friend whom I meet freshmen yr and she knew I liked him.Yet our sophomore yr she went out with him. Knowing I still had feelings for him.BTW freshmen yr I told him my feelings and he acted like a surprised. I need to get over him. But it's impossible. Now in my junior yr I still like him. This is the horrible part yet our dads are from the same small town and they might have grown up together. So even when I'm older I will have to see him. He knows my whole side of the family from the little town. He is a big flirt. I actually thought he would like me. I waited too long. 3 years and I can't do it anymore. My friends tell me to get over him I tried. At one point it worked and it did. But then when this upcoming school year started my feelings came back.IDK what to do. Any suggestions?

Last year I was friends with a woman who owned her own tax office. Naturally, when tax season came along, my husband and I went to her. Upon finishing filing our taxes, she said she wouldn't charge a friend, so we didn't have to pay her. Then, after a year of horrendous mood swings and alcohol consumption, my husband and I felt it best to part our ways with her. Unfortunately, she has recently started texting my husband out of the blue wanting money (not related to the taxes she filed for free, but for no reason at all. ?I know, right?). When we refused she got angry and sent, "Well I have a contract with both of your signatures that says I did your taxes last year and didn't receive payment and will report this against your credit" We're not really worried about this, but I am just so curious as to whether she could actually do that. Is there a time limit for filing a strike against someone if it has been a full year? Can someone do a service for free, have a falling out, and then deal out threats? Would this even go through? Once she realized we weren't going to just give her money, she didn't even demand payment for that service so I don't even know how much we would "owe" her. Just straight to the reporting on our credit business.

What is the best propeller for my boat?
i have a 1986 sea ray mercrusier with a 350 big block in it(im not sure what it is in boat terms) i need to get a new propellor for it but not sure i only use it for skiing and tubing with my friends so i want a good one to get the skier out of the water with no problem. my boat has trouble on getting up to speed but my prop now has a not of dings and damage to it.

I found a baby boat billed flycatcher bird?
it is a baby boat billed flycatcher that i found outside being barked at by dogs inside a gate. the thing was shivering, and had a few scratches. i put it in a box inside by a window with ripped up paper towels. i soaked bread and every so often would feed it to him. over night he was fine. we found out he has mites so we are getting mite drops also. my problem is that he wont stop squeaking: every 5 seconds :P what is this, and how do i make him stop?

Why can't I hear the bass in death metal and metalcore? Why would someone want to play bass in a metal band?
All the bass does is harmonize the kick drum, and follow the guitar. How incredibly boring and hard to distinguish. Why would someone want to play bass in metal bands that sound like Job For A Cowboy, August Burns Red, Dethklok, or TBDM and TDWP, Killswitch Engage? Basically, I am saying I read the bass tabs in Guitar World for my favorite metal bands are so incredibly boring, then I also read the bass tabs by music companies and again, boring and repetitive in comparison to the guitar parts. What's worse, when listening they are barely audible over brick wall of distorted, and acoustic guitar textures. I am not sure what the bass is actually necessary for in recording music that sounds like those bands.

Hi, new guy here. I have a question about the Chaparral boats for Sea Purposes?
Chaparral makes a good boat for the "Pleasure" segment of boating. It'll be fine in the ocean. It won't be crossing any ocean, but can handle some tough water. The engines are very reliable. Comfort is good. I don't know what islands you're talking about, but something like the Caribbeans from Florida, then yes, it'll make the journey. I venture offshore in my 26' Express Cruiser 38 miles out in the Pacific Ocean, just not in terrible weather. Hope your brother has experience with boats and "Seamanship", because it's not like driving a car. Ocean conditions change quickly and if not experienced with rough water, can end up being a bad outcome. I love being out on my boats and the ocean.

okay so on friday i got gauges, but i got 10s instead of 14s. and i put them in and it kinda hurt. but lastnight i was at a rave and i pushed my gauges a little bit more in cause they were kinda out, and i woke up this morning and my left ear (the bottom part of it) was swollen, but not alot and it hurts everytime i barely touch it, or when i lay my head down on my left side it hurts alot, what should i do?

i doubt if you are getting that much water from around the bow eye. they are usually caulked when installed and the wooden pad behind the hull usually will act as a seal as well. more likely places would be- any missing cover snaps of sides of hull, leakage from engine cooling system, engine bellows where lower unit enters the hull, bad seal bellows where cables leave the hull, any through hull penetrations such as depth finder , water intake for wash down pump, cooling intakes, or cockpit drains. also consider a bad joint between the hull and deck seam, any mounting bolts for lower unit or outboard. its also possible that its just splash water since its only a couple of gallons. i have a wellcraft that developed a leak that kept getting bigger. turned out to be the self bailing drain that exited the hull right at the waterline. the thruhull fitting cracked. keep a eye on it and if its stable its probability nothing more that splash water.

He took the trailer i was awarded still not paying and has possession of all material assets boats horses ATV home and is using my check book like crazy. Police are his friend so they won't help me with any court order to get back a place to live I have no $$ for lawyer and just want enough to survive. Why do I always feel numb?
When I'm around other people, I'm the most spontaneous person there is, but it's just an act. Truth is, I feel entirely emotionless. No aggression, no true excitement or happiness, no depression... I never really noticed this lack of true emotion until a couple days ago, when I realized that not only have I been smoking, (cigarettes only) but I burn myself with them when I'm done. And the worst part is, I don't know why. My life's not great but so what right? Nothings perfect. But shouldn't I still feel something?

I would think the ESC would plug into Channel 1 on the receiver. After you hook that up it is a process of elimination. Plug one servo into channel 2 and use the transmitter to see what function it performes. If your throttle on the transmitter is working the steering, then you need to plug that servo into channel 3 and channel 2 would be your throttle servo.

My Grandfather Hasn't Spoken to my mother in 35 years?
...because she married my father (whom he didn't approve of) Then he divorced my grandmother for his secretary and had his attorneys put her out on the street. He and the secretary moved in to her house and she lived with us ever since. That was 1978. He's a widower now, late eighties, and mean. I heard he had nobody (except for two step kids out of state) so I've been going to visit him. He's not very warm to me at all. Sort of treats me like a bastard. And my mother he's disowned. I'm only seeing him because I know he's so alone, living in a home. I'd do it if he weren't my grandfather. However last night, I phoned him and an otherwise light conversation turned nasty when I suggested he "forgive" my mother (for what? she did nothing) and speak to her again. I made the point that "If god had a say in this, he'd say you should at least let her know you love her. She only doesn't come to see you because she's afraid you'll reject her again" He said "don't hold your breath buddy" and hung up on me. It hurt very bad. I've done nothing except try to reach out to him. I was searching the internet for "unsafe people" --- I've heard my mom use it regards to him. A pop psychology term. Why do I feel guilty? Just for bringing up that he should reach out to my mom? I feel like I'm trying to save him from himself or something. Save his soul. And I feel ridiculous for it. I've seen my mom cry about her father not loving her for 30 years. I knew him when I was a boy and he seemed to love me then. I guess I'm looking for that grandfather, but he's not there anymore. Just someone full of bitterness and condemnation. He hated my father (dad was a junkie. And he sees me as the spawn of a hideous error on his daughter's part) I'm a grown person now and successful artist. It's like self abuse to relate to someone who makes me feel like this. But it feels wrong to let him rot. Is this the point I just let him die?

I know I would have to pay a docking fee every week etc but since the laws have changed soooo much since I was a teen was hoping for a little help on this subject. She could have just been having a bad day or is just generally mean. She didn't mean anything by the comment its not like she's literally going to rip you apart. That is technically a threat and you could report it to the principal but chances are unless other students have had the same problem with her then nothing will happen. If your worried about it then you should go in to the principal and tell him/her that your generally a good student and your scared or worried about what she said. Hope this helped

A couple of weeks ago, I stabbed completely through my hand with a steak knife. It went through my palm under the middle finger and out the back by the ring finger knuckle. The blade killed a nerve and i cant feel the left side of my middle finger anymore. Anyway, the cut has completely healed and there is obviously a scar,but now every time i run something over the scar or tap it against something even slightly it sends a very bad jerk and tingling throughout the numb part of my finger. Do I need to have anti tetanus shot due to ear piercing?
I just had my ear piercing in the upper part using the gun and it was not painful but after a day my ear got swollen so i removed the earring and i didn't know that I'm not supposed to remove it and when i placed it back the pain is hell so i didn't put it back. okay this girl i was with had at the time just moved to town and instantly i saw that she was different...i liked her and so we hung out and got to know each other...after a few days of that i asked her if she would like to be my girl friend so we could do things with each other besides talk? she said yes so we were together 2 maybe 3 days and she cheated on me with this guy who we both know and i didn't find out until 4 days after this happened and she didn't even tell me i had to here it from a friend. so i was calm and i went to talk to her she explained to me that being the new girl and having boys want her makes her fell special and she liked it but now she knows that she is with me and it will never happen again...so i was irritated but i accepted that answer and let it go...we were dating another 2 months or so and we had fights here and there just like in every relationship. so it was right before Christmas break and i decided that for Christmas to her i would give her sex...so i talked to her about it and she seemed fine but it was her first time and it was for me as well. i was confident that it would be amazing...so i had it all planned out i was staying the night at my buddies the night before and in the morning he would take me over to her house after her mom left for work because i couldn't drive and her house was empty. so i went over and we did it and then we were fine...for a week...she said was going back to her home town to visit her friends and i didn't think anything of it...because she had done it before...well this time she hung out with her ex which she was not over...and she cheated on me...she tells me and i was crushed i felt like every thing she said was a lie and all the time i spent with her was a waste...we broke up for about two months and we both dated other people in that time...she dated her ex...and she had sex with him within that time...and i dated a different girl we didn't do anything but make-out...i got back with her and every thing was great for almost 7 months...we often talked of the mistakes she made in the past and i could tell that she wasn't proud of her mistakes and she promised me that they would never happen again...then summer came and i was moving away for school and so was she...we promised each other we would see each other in about a month...in under two weeks of summer she cheated on me with her ex and i was heart broken because i loved her i really did...i told her when i see her next i was not going to be mad or mean and that she would always have a place in my heart...so we stopped talking for about a month and with in that month i found someone else who i am currently with...however here is the hard part...my ex got sick real sick and she and i started talking again she tells me she loves me and i say i love her too...she left her ex and dude she cheated on me before with and ex from all the way for when she moved to my town just so she could be with me again in two years after high school...she told me one night that she will have to have surgery again because she got sick like this once before when she was little...so i thought oh okay i will see her in the hospital. but then she said that she might not wake up after the surgery and that right before they put her to sleep she wants me to hold her hand and look her in the eyes and tell her i love her...she said if she never woke up that she would be happy in death because i was the last thing she ever saw and that i loved her...and now my heart is telling me yes she needs you go back to her she has changed in which she has and i can tell when i talk to her...but my brain is saying no remember what she did before and how bad it hurt...i really do love this girl and i still want her to be my girlfriend but i don't want it and i feel that her possibly dieing if i was to say no i don't want you that she would give up and die...then i would be haunted by sorrow and guilt for the rest of my life...Please help me all my friends say leave her behind but they are not in my situation and have no idea how hard it is.

Why Do People always end up disliking me for some reason? Had this problem all my life? Plz help?
Something hit me recently, it's weird, but it seems that this has been an issue for me for most of my life. I'm not sure why this always ends up happening to me but, for some reason, people usually end up disliking me, as a person. Ever since I was in grade school, I was never a bad student, but I have had lots of teachers who did not like me, all the way through, this problem was so bad my parents eventually threaten to sue the county board of education for harassment. Same Problems follow me threw my professional and personal life, my bosses usually end up hating me. I have been fired from every job Ive had, never for anything reasonable. My Wife lately has begun to act the same way everyone else in my life has acted. Within the last 2 years of our 5 year marriage she has began acting as if she hates me, I have tried to talk to her to understand what it is that bothers her, but she never really has any specifics. I'm not an obnoxious person. I'm of mixed ethnicity, extremely well mannered and speak with very good english. Not to sound like I'm bragging but Im' a nice looking man. I did modeling from the point when I was a kid, all the way threw college. I'm not full of myself though by any means, infact I'm very insecure. About my appearance, but try not to let it show. Girls what would you do if this happened?
Girls if you woke up one morning and you walked outside and on your porch there was a whole civilization of little people no bigger then ants and they had their own community and such, lifestyle, houses boats, etc, what would you do? I recently had to report my 14 yr old daughter missing. My local police dept. sent an officer out. He was courteous, but seemed uninterested and unconcerned. I never heard another word from the department. I know they were even provided information from a highly respectable source, when she had been missing for nearly a day and a half, but as far as I know it was never followed up on. My daughter has never been in trouble and this was not something she had done before. I feel that there was not enough done on law enforcement's part to make her disappearance a priority. How do I find out what actions they took (if any), without "rocking the boat" since I live in a relatively small community. I just want answers to their actions, not trouble. By the way, I found her myself, in our own town, when they couldn't seem to. She is home safe.

What is size boat prop can I install for heavy loads?

How do I repair a crack in my fiberglass boat hull?
The lovely ice storm this year did a wonder to my '89 DynaTrak. The drain hole filled with ice, and despite the boat being covered, water got into it through a few holes in the cover. The boat had about 6 inches of water in it when I broke the ice out of the drain hole with a screwdriver. The ice pushed out the transom, and I now have about an 8-inch crack along the bottom edge of the transom. Is this a job for standard Marine-Tex epoxy (which I've used to patch scraps and knicks before) or do I need something else?
