i would go, and if you don't drink, then don't..and you won't have a problem keeping up, people won't know if you are drinking or not, if you drink a coke then tell them it's mixed if they ask, and you aren't lying because coke is mixed with different flavors, right? and that ought to be the end of anyone asking if your drinking or not..
